FPGA Verification Engineer II; Onsite

Position

Experienced Electrical or Computer Engineer for testbench design, implementation, and verification of high‑performance digital ASICs and FPGAs for signal processing and information assurance products on Mission Systems.

• Design and architect verification environments using System Verilog with OVM/UVM.
• Create written test plans, test cases, and maintain code coverage and functional coverage metrics.
• Develop test benches for RTL block verification using VHDL or System Verilog.
• Contribute to engineering estimates for new program pursuits.
• Provide technical leadership for project verification teams, breaking down work, planning activities, and reporting status.
• Work independently as part of a team of engineers across multiple skill sets while being matrixed into projects with aggressive schedules and frequent milestones.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start.
• U.S. citizenship (or U.S. person/immigration status) required for security clearance.
• RTL coding and simulation experience in VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience developing test benches for RTL blocks using VHDL and/or System Verilog.
• Familiarity with best‑practice chip‑level verification techniques and languages (constrained random, functional coverage, System Verilog).
• Proficiency with revision control tools, e.g., Git or Subversion.

• ASIC/FPGA lab validation with advanced lab equipment.
• Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturability expertise.
• Experience with Unix, scripting, C/C++, or Perl.
• Proficiency using ASIC and FPGA simulation/synthesis tools such as Questasim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado, or other FPGA‑specific tools.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to document and present work and status.
