What You Will Do
Support a variety of activities including concept development, requirements management, design oversight for RF systems, production support, failure analysis, supplier engagement, test planning, implementation, and system integration, verification, and validation.
- Understand the customer’s functional and operational needs and participate in requirements decomposition.
- Oversee allocation of technical elements.
- Support system integration, test, design verification, fault identification, failure resolution, and acceptance of production hardware.
- Provide engineering support to laboratory test and qualification activities, overseeing evaluation and analysis of system hardware and firmware performance.
- Assist with customer inquiries, field failures, product obsolescence, system enhancements, new product development, integration, and transition to production.
- Evaluate and assess the performance of developmental electronic warfare systems, including signal processing subsystems.
- Balance multiple commitments while exercising discretion and operating with moderate oversight.
After comprehensive on‑the‑job training, you will work in systems engineering, integration, and test activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications You Must Have- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) obtained by the start date.
- 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Academic or extracurricular experience in radio, communications, or radar systems design, operation, analysis, or simulation.
- Experience communicating and presenting system design details, and/or test results to stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing, developing, and implementing solutions to complex technical problems in conditions of moderate uncertainty.
- Ability to support occasional business travel (20% or less).
- Exposure to RF system design, digital and/or analog signal processing, waveform and signal modulation analysis, and/or algorithm implementation and testing.
- Experience with development, implementation, and test of RF jamming algorithms.
- Experience using MATLAB, Path Wave ADS, and/or Path Wave EMPro for simulation and RF system design.
- Experience with C/C++ or Python programming languages.
- RF receiver/exciter product design, development, and/or test experience in the Electronic Attack (signals jamming) sub‑domain of EW.
