The Electronic Warfare and Airborne Sensors department within the Space and Air Sensors organization has an immediate opening for an Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of cutting‑edge Electronic Warfare (EW) technology and sensor systems across multiple programs. The role involves concept development, requirements management, design oversight for RF systems, production support, failure analysis, supplier engagement, test planning, implementation, and system integration, verification, and validation (IV&V).

What

You Will Do
  • Understand the customer’s functional/operational needs and participate in requirements decomposition, overseeing proper allocation of technical elements.
  • Support system integration, test, design verification, fault identification, failure resolution, and acceptance of production hardware.
  • Provide engineering support to lab test and qualification activities, overseeing testing, evaluation, and analysis of system hardware and firmware performance.
  • Address customer inquiries, field failures, product obsolescence, system enhancements, new product development, and transition to production.
  • Evaluate and assess performance of developmental EW systems, including signal‑processing subsystems.
  • Balance multiple commitments with moderate oversight and discretion.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
  • No more than 12 months of professional experience (excluding internships).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to starting.
  • Academic or extracurricular experience with radio, communications, or radar systems design, operation, analysis, or simulation.
  • Experience communicating and presenting system design details and/or test results to stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing, developing, and implementing solutions to complex technical problems in moderate uncertainty.
  • Ability to support occasional business travel (20% or less).
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with RF system design, digital/analog signal processing, waveform and signal‑modulation analysis, and algorithm implementation/testing.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and testing RF jamming algorithms.
  • Skill in MATLAB, Path Wave ADS, and/or Path Wave EMPro for RF system simulation and design.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ or Python programming languages.
  • Experience in RF receiver/exciter product design, development, or testing in the Electronic Attack (signals jamming) sub‑domain of EW.

    USD – 131,100

    USD (good faith estimate).
