Senior Engineer – Electronic Warfare Systems
This onsite role in Fort Wayne, Indiana supports design, development, and testing of cutting‑edge electronic warfare technology and sensor systems across multiple programs. The engineer will handle concept development, requirements management, RF system design oversight, production support, failure analysis, supplier engagement, test planning, and system integration, verification, and validation.
Security Clearance
: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required.
- Understand customer functional and operational needs and translate them into system requirements.
- Lead requirements decomposition, ensuring proper allocation of technical elements.
- Support system integration and test activities, including design verification, fault identification, and failure resolution.
- Provide engineering oversight for lab test and qualification activities, evaluating system hardware and firmware performance.
- Assist with customer inquiries, field failures, product obsolescence, system enhancements, and new product development.
- Evaluate the performance of developmental electronic warfare systems, including signal processing subsystems.
- Provide support for bid and proposal efforts by estimating labor and material costs.
- Manage multiple commitments with moderate oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Systems, Electrical, Software Engineering, Physics preferred) and ≥5years of relevant systems engineering experience.
- Experience in RF system design, digital/analog signal processing, waveform and modulation analysis, and algorithm implementation/testing.
- Proficiency in producing and presenting system design information and test results to internal/external customers.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
- Experience with RF jamming algorithms and simulation/design using MATLAB, Path Wave ADS, or Path Wave EMPro.
- Programming skills in C/C++ or Python.
- Knowledge of RF receiver/exciter product design and testing in the Electronic Attack sub‑domain.
- Embedded systems design and programming experience.
- Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo.
- Agile development practices (Jira, Confluence) and DOORS for requirements management.
Salary range: $86,800–$165,200 USD.
