Job Requirements Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking to hire Band & Orchestra Category Advisors to add to our growing Sales team!

As a Category Advisor, you will be working on the front lines, talking with customers about band & orchestra products & rentals, including woodwind, brass, orchestral string, and percussion instruments; their related accessories; and more. Category Advisors connect with hundreds of musicians, parents, and educators, exuding the Sweetwater Experience by providing an amazing customer interaction, paired with strong technical knowledge. • Give gear advice on band & orchestra products and accessories.
• Educate customers on our state-of-the-art rental program, serving as their liaison for Sweetwater Band & Orchestra Instrument Rentals.
• Follow up on orders to provide outstanding customer service through a variety of different communication methods.

• Self-motivated and empathetic with strong people skills
• Great verbal and written communication chops and strong typing skills
• Previous experience in music industry sales, music education, or first-hand band & orchestra experience.
• Customer first mindset. You have a heart for serving others, and providing unparalleled customer service. Striving to create memorable experiences for parents, students, educators, professional musicians, and more.
