The Role at a Glance

This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of Treasury responsibility. The role is responsible for standard and complex treasury activities supporting cash operations, including disbursements, unclaimed property and retained assets. They will perform treasury activities accurately, timely, and in compliance with controls/regulations to support cash and/or statutory requirements.

What you’ll be doing
  • You will maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • You will promote and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • You will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • You will identify and communicate to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • You will process money out transactions for the entire enterprise, ensuring accuracy and productivity standards are met.
  • You will reconcile accounts and transactions related to disbursements; identify, research, and resolve discrepancies.
  • You will create and maintain reports and provide analysis to internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • You will prepare ad hoc reports, analysis, and research as needed.
  • You will build and maintain relationships with appropriate internal/external stakeholders (i.e. banking partners).
  • You will resolve issues with internal/external auditors in a collaborative manner.
  • You will perform treasury activities in compliance with policies and principles, internal controls, and SOX.
  • You will identify treasury issues/concerns and make recommendations to yield more effective operations.
  • You will carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • You will remain current in profession and industry trends.
  • You will perform other duties as required.
What we’re looking for
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • 1 - 3+ Years of experience in Treasury and/or Finance that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
