Assistant Controller

In this newly created role, as Assistant Controller, you’ll report directly to the Controller with a dotted line to the CFO. You’ll play a key role in strengthening accounting operations, improving financial reporting, and helping drive process improvements across the organization.

• Lead ongoing optimization and enhancement of the company’s new ERP system, Sage Intacct
• Help streamline and shorten the month-end close process
• Coordinate and support external audits
• Assist with preparation of tax returns
• Improve the accuracy, efficiency, and usefulness of financial reporting
• Partner with senior leadership to support financial performance and strategic initiatives
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team
• Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by the Controller and CFO

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Experience working with multi‑entity integrated accounting systems
• Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
• Experience working within companies generating at least $50M–$100M+ in revenue
