Corporate Controller

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the North American accounting and finance function for this multi-site division headquartered in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. This position leads a team of nearly 10 people, and has the full support of the leadership team.

We are looking for a leader that must have 7+ years of manufacturing experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or aerospace with increasing levels of responsibility in comparable sized companies. Also, must have large ERP and multi-site consolidation experience in accounting, FP&A and reporting. Base compensation can go up to $185k, plus annual bonus and generous benefits including. My client is willing to stretch on compensation and title for the right candidate, especially those with automotive experience.

• Oversee the corporate accounting function, including month end, quarterly and annual closing of the books
• Manage a Financial Planning and Analysis function
• Oversee preparation of financial reporting packages and monthly board decks
• Work closely with both Sales and Operations to optimize margins
• Supervise a direct and indirect staff of 10+
• Periodic travel, including internationally of 5-10% is required
• Other ad-hoc reporting and projects as assigned

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA designation preferred, not required
• 5+ years of accounting and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required
• Executive presence and polished presentation skills to the C-Suite
