The Spectral Solutions Division is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support the Spectral Ground programs. This position will be part of a responsible for financial forecasting, program financial execution, EVMS, and various ad hoc analyses. This position performs analyses related to programs including profitability, cash flow and quarterly EACs. Responsibility also includes development and distribution of all financial reports to stakeholders for their programs.
The successful candidate is expected to understand internal customer requirements and provide useful, timely data to assist in the reporting and decision‑making process. This individual will work in a fast‑paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.
- Responsible for earned value management, baseline, and estimate to complete changes.
- Provide internal and customer financial reporting.
- Focus on cost control, achieving financial targets, and driving cash flow.
- Work with program management and the program teams to report the health of the program.
- Develop, communicate, and recommend action plans with program teams to ensure financial targets and program goals are achieved.
- Support finance leadership team in analysis of monthly and quarterly program performance.
- Ability to assess and quantify the business risks and opportunities associated with orders, sales, profit, and cash.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- 2+ Years Experience with EVM, financial performance reporting, internal/customer reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong teamwork and business partnering skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Excel, MPM, People Soft, and Pro Pricer.
- Experience with cost/schedule development, budgeting, Excel spreadsheets, customer/management reporting, and forecasting.
- Experience with earned value management (EVMS).
- Process improvement oriented, ability to identify and implement improvement ideas.
- Self‑motivated accurate, and strong analytical/organizational skills.
