Senior Accountant

DOXA Insurance Holdings is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Corporate Finance team. This role will play a key part in the month-end close and financial reporting process across multiple business units within a fast-growing specialty insurance platform.

The Senior Accountant will partner closely with business unit finance teams and corporate leadership to support accurate financial reporting, process improvement, and scalable accounting operations in a highly acquisitive environment. This role offers strong exposure to executive leadership, operational finance, and acquisition-related activities while providing meaningful opportunities for career growth.

• Lead month-end close activities for multiple subsidiaries and business units, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records within Net Suite and other accounting systems
• Collaborate with business unit accounting teams to improve close processes, standardization, and internal controls
• Assist with intercompany accounting and consolidation-related activities
• Support acquisition integration activities and other special projects as needed
• Assist with the annual financial statement audit and support audit and tax-related requests
• Analyze financial results and investigate fluctuations to support management reporting and operational decision‑making
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy
• Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and cross‑functional initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or a corporate accounting environment
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline‑driven environment
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment

• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems
• Experience working in a multi‑entity or high‑growth environment
• Insurance industry experience preferred

The expected base salary range for this role is $65,000 $ 75,000. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as education, experience, skill set, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
