Accounting Manager - Consultant

Location: Greater Fort Wayne (100% On-Site)

Compensation: $75,000 - $91,000

The Accounting Manager plays a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning for the organization and its related entities. This position partners with senior finance leadership to support core finance functions, drive insights, and improve financial processes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, initiative, and the ability to operate independently while contributing to team objectives.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Prepare financial reports, KPI metrics, and financial analysis.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Support audits, compliance reporting, and process improvements.
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and business decisions.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Experience in complex or multi-entity environments is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels.
• Detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
