Crowe's dynamic and entrepreneurial Federal Tax Consulting Services practice incorporates cutting-edge technology into an innovative team‑based approach to deliver specialized federal tax consulting to clients ranging from middle‑market companies to Fortune 500 companies. The group is currently searching for a Manager to support projects in the areas of federal and state credits, including research and development ("R&D") tax credits.

• Develop and execute project work plans
• Lead technical interviews with client personnel, such as scientists and engineers
• Develop appropriate quantitative and qualitative documentation to support project results
• Identify value‑added opportunities and work in a team environment to develop business
• Exhibit proven leadership and project management skills in managing client service teams and multiple projects in a fast‑paced and interactive team environment to meet and exceed client expectations
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills
• Strong data management skills, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx
• Ability to mentor and develop staff and seniors, including on‑the‑job technical training and coaching
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Personal drive to develop self/others and provide leadership insight to the existing leadership team

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Accounting preferred, MST (Master of Science in Taxation) is a plus
• CPA, EA or PE credential required
• At least 5 years of experience in public accounting; strong preference for Big 4 or large regional firm experience
• Experience in the subject matter areas described above preferred
• Proficiency with building energy modeling software required for a Manager focused on our Green Building services
• Moderate travel may be required
