Treasury Analyst

Steel Dynamics.

Reports directly to Treasury Director focusing on
1) analysis, reporting, and reconciliation of hedging activity between external and internal information;
2) daily cash monitoring and payment processes; and
3) analysis of other treasury topics as needed.

• Coordinate information from accounting, operations, trading, and risk management to reconcile exchange-traded derivative positions between broker statements and our internal system of record.
• Perform monthly closing and reporting processes related to realized and unrealized exchange-traded derivative positions
• Supporting daily cash functions including payment processes and intercompany activities
• Works to drive improved control and efficiencies across treasury banking process. Eliminate redundancies and inconsistencies
• Supports the treasury director as needed, coordinates the accumulation of various financial analyses, and assists in the preparation of the summary materials for executive leadership and Board of Directors.

• Support other various treasury functions
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance; pursing CPA or MBA or other financial certification
• Entry level to 3 years of relevant accounting and financial analysis experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
