Position:
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) General Job Duties / Required Procedures Provides respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes Reviews, implements, and maintains patient care plans Performs patient evaluations and adjusts care as clinically appropriate Works as part of a team-based approach for:
Distressed newborn resuscitation High-risk deliveries Attendance at C-sections Equipment Utilized Epic EMR computerized charting Medication and supply scanning General respiratory therapy equipment for treatment modalities Specialized equipment includes:
Servo ventilators BIPAP (V-60, Vision) Airvo Met Neb Neo-Tee Required Skills & Experience 5 years of experience preferred as a Credentialed Respiratory Care Practitioner Adult intubation experience required Experience with high-risk infant deliveries and C-sections required Licensure & Certifications (All Required) RRT BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NRP Shift & Scheduling Will not work alone Every other weekend required Call is voluntary Floating Requirements No floating Unit / Facility Information 250-bed hospital 12-bed ICU Dress Code Black scrubs Orientation & Training Required Epic EMR training with assigned trainer Department-specific orientation up to 3 weeks Completion of orientation requires:
Observation with preceptor Successful skills check-off Position Requirements Confirmation Time off during assignment must be disclosed at submission Candidate must not be 1099 Experience and certifications as listed above are mandatory Compensation & Facility Policies
