VP Ortho Service Line Operations - Parkview Ortho Hospital and Ortho Ambulatory Surgery Centers

Summary

Under the direction of the President and SVP/COO for Orthopedic Service Line, directs and coordinates the functions of Parkview Ortho Hospital & Orthopedic Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) service line operations. Responsible for leading the development, implementation, and coordination of high‑quality, high‑valued patient services within the Orthopedic service line through identified key outcomes. Participates with PH leadership, governing bodies, management, medical staff and clinical & operational leaders in organizational growth, safety, financial operations, performance, decision making, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives in support of the achievement of goals and metrics established by the service line.

Must have at least 5 years of experience in a management position in healthcare operations or related field. Must have at least 3 years of experience in strategic development. Must have at least 5 years of direct management of professional staff. Must have experience in complex problem‑solving activities and managing multiple challenging projects and related deadlines.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Master’s degree preferred in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration or healthcare related field.

Must have current RN licensure by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates current working knowledge and understanding of JCAHO/ISDOH and other regulatory agencies. Must possess strong customer service skills and clinical program/coworker development skills.
