• General job duties and responsibilities for respiratory care in the unit/dept.
• Provide care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes, review and maintain care plans, and perform evaluations to adjust care as needed.
• Collaborate with the team in the delivery of care in distressed newborn and C-section scenarios.
• Utilize Epic (EMR) for charting, scanning of medication and supply utilization, and operate standard respiratory care equipment for treatment modalities (e.g., Servo ventilators, BIPAP variants, Airvo, Met Neb, Neo-Tee).

• 5 years of experience as a Credentialed Respiratory Care Practitioner; must have adult intubation skill.
• Specific licensures/certifications: BLS, RRT, ACLS, NRP
• Must be able to work as part of a team; shift requirements include working with others and every other weekend; schedule is 3a-3p or 3p-3a.

Will not work alone; call when needed; every other weekend; shifts are 3a-3p or 3p-3a. No floating to other units/departments.

Unit: 250-bed hospital; ICU: 12 beds.

Training:
Required EPIC training (EMR) by assigned trainer. Department-specific training up to 3 weeks, followed by preceptor observations and check-off; orientation completed thereafter.
