Description

Indiana ABA Institute is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Child Behavior Therapist to join our team in Fort Wayne. This full-time, on-site position provides an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families in the Hospital/Health Care industry.

As a Child Behavior Therapist, you will work directly with children facing behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans. You will collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each child receives the best care possible, contributing to their overall well-being and development.

We offer a competitive salary range of $57,900 - $64,700 annually, along with a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs of children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with children
  • Collaborate with families to support behavioral strategies at home
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies
  • Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Understanding of child development and behavioral therapies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help children
  • Basic knowledge of data collection and analysis for therapy outcomes
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Willingness to learn and engage in ongoing professional development
