Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain Partners in Autism’s company culture standards and best practices
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments for in-coming Waiver Services clients
  • Analyze data and track client progress
  • Provide ongoing trainings to family/caregivers and staff on behavior plan implementation
  • Respond to all crisis situations 24/7
  • Participate in quarterly meetings as required
  • Provide timely reports to the Director of Waiver Services and maintain open communication
  • Understand and abide by all applicable Partners in Autism policies, industry standards, and best practices including the FSSA/DDRS Waiver Manual
  • Collaborates with assigned HSPP on modifications to plans as needed
  • Attempt to grow client case-load and promote Partners in Autism’s mission in the community
  • This is a contracted position, and as such, BC will adhere to contractual obligations
Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, Clinical, School, or other applied health service in the area of Psychology, Special Education, Social Work or Counseling
  • May also be a licensed marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, or licensed mental health counselor, or have a Master’s in the human services field with a minimum of 5 years writing Behavior Support Plans
  • Must pass a thorough background check
  • Must complete all company orientations, Health & Safety Training, and Safety Care
  • Must have a current CPR/First Aid/AED with hands-on certification and TB screening
  • Valid Driver’s License and proof of vehicle insurance that covers personal injury, loss of life, and property damage
  • Must maintain at least 10 CEUs annually that relate to the practice of behavior support
Physical Requirements

Must be able to bend, stoop, pull, push, walk, reach, lift, climb stairs, and run without assistance when applicable to work with clients of various ages. Must be prepared to handle physical behaviors from clients of all ages.
