Staff Clinician I

This PRN Staff Clinician I Position will be working with both a Youth and Adult Population.

Summary

Staff Clinician I utilizes therapeutic skills to assess psychosocial functioning and provide intervention strategies to alleviate these needs by providing individual, group, marital, and/or family therapy. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and assists with discharge planning, including connecting patients to appropriate community resources and support services.

Education

Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.

Licensure/Certification

NVCI required within 60 in days of employment. CPR required within 30 days of employment. Must be license eligible. Must obtain temporary license within 6 months of hire. Must pursue full licensure and/or certification in related mental health field.

Experience

2 years in the health care or social service field, psychiatric hospital experience preferred.

Other Qualifications

Must be available to work flexible hours and days of the week including weekends and evenings. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting.
