Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Fort Wayne Health Campus, you will play a critical role in evaluating and treating residents who are experiencing communication disorders or swallowing difficulties. Your expertise and compassion will help our residents communicate effectively, regain independence, and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents with communication disorders or swallowing difficulties
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs and goals
Provide speech-language pathology services to residents, including individual and group sessions
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Monitor and document resident progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and timely records of resident assessments, treatments, and progress
Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Indiana
Experience working with older adults and individuals with communication disorders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple responsibilities
