Sales Coordinator

Blue Flame manages three hotels on the Northeast side of Fort Wayne: the Hampton Inn Dupont and the Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites (a dual property location).

As a Sales Coordinator for the hotels, your general responsibilities will include but are not limited to: coordinating, selling, booking, and prospecting all sales aspects including but not limited to groups, meetings, site tours, corporate accounts, tele‑prospects, banquet events, etc.; working other areas as designated by the Director of Sales and General Manager; assisting in the preparation of the annual departmental budget and operating within the approved budget;

maintaining compliance with company policies, practices, procedures, and safety standards; pre‑arranging site tours of the hotel as well as conducting any drop‑in site tours; booking and blocking meeting space; and ensuring other related client requests are completed and provided to the client. You will follow all Sales Standard Operating Procedures as directed by the Director of Sales. It is preferred that you have a high school diploma or GED, prior sales experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be organized, efficient and prioritize work, and have a basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Should also have good guest relation skills with a strong emphasis on problem‑solving techniques, be a team player with the ability to work well in groups, and be flexible and able to multitask.
