Executive Housekeeper

Job Overview

Manage the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure brand standards are met and the entire hotel is spotless. Direct the cleaning staff and follow up to make sure no guest leaves unhappy. Join our growing company and find a job you enjoy coming to every day.

• Manage the day‑to‑day activities of the housekeeping department.
• Inspect all cleaned rooms daily to brand standards.
• Recommend disciplinary or other staffing/human resources actions in accordance with company rules and policies, and alert management of potentially serious issues.
• Ensure all staff is properly trained, in uniform with name tags.
• Monitor, coordinate and execute the special needs and requests of VIP, repeat guests and members of the frequent‑guest program(s).
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests.
• Control expenses within all areas of housekeeping.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings and review all information pertinent to the day’s activities.
• May be responsible for the security of lost and found items or coordinate the lost and found function with other departments.
• May serve as “manager on duty” as required.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.

• Carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull.
• Frequently stand, move about the facility.
• Frequently handle objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
• Frequently bend, stoop, and kneel.
