Web Developer

The Web Developer is responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining web solutions that align with client goals, agency standards, and project timelines. This role collaborates closely with content strategists, designers, technical project managers, and account executives to deliver high-quality digital experiences that drive measurable results.

• Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure web solutions using modern development practices.
• Build responsive, SEO-optimized websites using Word Press, Elementor, and custom code as needed.
• Translate design mockups into clean, efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and CMS functionality as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Collaborate with creative, UX, and account teams to define technical requirements and development timelines.
• Manage multiple development tasks and projects simultaneously from concept through deployment.
• Ensure websites meet performance, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility standards.
• Optimize websites for performance and SEO best practices.

• Work closely with developers, designers, content strategists, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communicate technical considerations and recommendations to internal stakeholders in clear, accessible language.
• Contribute technical insight during project planning, discovery, and solution development.

• Support development methodologies and workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Git Hub).
• Follow established coding standards, version control practices, and deployment workflows.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and quality assurance processes.
• Contribute to documentation for development processes and technical implementations.

• Deep knowledge of and proficiency in modern front-end and back-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, PHP, Node.js, RESTful APIs, etc.).
• Highly proficient with Word Press, CMS, and Elementor. Proficiency with additional platforms including Craft, Shopify, Sitefinity, strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
• Understanding of responsive design, web accessibility standards (WCAG), cross-browser compatibility, and compliance desired.
• Working knowledge of SEO principles and performance optimization techniques desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem solving skills.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks amidst shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in web development required.
• Relevant certifications in web development are a plus.
• Demonstrated design and technical expertise through a portfolio of websites and applications.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment is desirable.
• Previous experience within a digital, agency, or tech-driven environment strongly preferred.
• Previous experience and familiarity with project management processes and tools such as Jira, Trello, Workamajig, or similar systems are helpful.

• Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time, particularly while working on a computer.
• Ability to alternate sitting, standing, and walking frequently.
• Occasional lifting or carrying of items up to 25 lbs.
