Information Technology Manager

The business is looking for an IT Manager with vision; someone who can leverage automation, AI, and modern systems to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance across the organisation. As IT Manager, you will shape how technology is used end-to-end, from shop floor systems through to enterprise infrastructure, helping the business become more data-driven and operationally effective.

Key responsibilities of the IT Manager include:

• Owning and optimising IT infrastructure, networks, and production-critical systems
• Leading ERP and MES environments to drive measurable operational performance
• Identifying and implementing automation across processes, reporting, and workflows
• Introducing AI-driven tools to enhance decision-making and efficiency
• Driving digital transformation (system upgrades, integrations, cloud adoption)
• Ensuring robust cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Acting as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues
• Leading and developing the IT team while managing external vendors
• Partnering with operations and leadership to align IT with business objectives

As the successful IT Manager, you’ll likely bring:

• Experience as an IT Manager or senior IT leader within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong ERP and MES experience in a production environment
• A track record of driving improvements, not just maintaining systems
• Exposure to automation, AI, or emerging technologies (practical or exploratory)
• Experience leading teams, vendors, and multiple projects
• A proactive, solutions-led mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo
