Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Join our client, a full-service Public Safety Provider, as a 2nd Shift IT Support Lead and play a pivotal role in supporting critical public safety operations. Lead the second shift team to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions for our valued customers.

What You’ll Do:
  • Deliver Top-Tier Support: Be the go-to expert for customer inquiries, providing timely and effective technical assistance.
  • Inspire and Lead: Train and mentor second shift technicians to achieve their fullest potential.
  • Drive Innovation: Identify workflow improvements and recommend tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Own Escalations: Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, ensuring quick and thorough resolutions.
  • Collaborate: Build strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to streamline processes.
  • Analyze and Solve: Review logs and reports to identify patterns, provide insights, and drive resolutions.
  • Manage Tickets: Oversee trouble tickets, ensuring clear communication and timely resolutions from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: At least 2 years in customer service; supervisory experience is a big plus.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and networking.
  • Communication: Strong ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
    • Professional appearance and commitment to a drug‑free workplace.
