Role Overview
This position is full-time Systems Architect supporting USSTRATCOM software teams. You will work with government engineers to understand the systems environment for new mission capabilities and design and document architectures that prioritize cybersecurity, performance, and reliability to ensure software components can achieve mission goals.
Key Responsibilities- Design and document system architectures that prioritize cybersecurity, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with government engineers to understand the systems environment for new mission capabilities.
- Support development of modern Web-based Java mission systems in a Dev Sec Ops environment.
- Ensure solutions are delivered on a Dev Sec Ops cadence using Agile Scrum.
- Provide design solutions and brief stakeholders at various levels of technical capability.
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance.
- Experience with MBSE, SysML, or Cameo.
- Experience designing system-to-system interfaces using REST, Kafka, and databases.
- Experience with large-scale, complex SW-based systems.
- Experience briefing design solutions to stakeholders at various levels of technical capability.
- Agile experience using Atlassian Tools.
- USSTRATCOM mission insight (Intel, Planning, or C2).
- Cybersecurity insights and experience evaluating vulnerabilities, threats, and risks.
- Engineering experience with AFNWC SMPES, MPAS, NPES Systems.
Must be a US Citizen; position requires a government security clearance. Clearance level:
Top Secret.
Work location:
onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
