Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive IT Support Executive to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth functioning of IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, support end-users, and maintain system performance to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Respond to user queries via phone, email, or ticketing systems
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving faults
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Support software installations, updates, and patches
- Maintain IT documentation, logs, and reports
- Assist in maintaining network security and data backups
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and support
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 1–3+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
- Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common office software
- Understanding of troubleshooting techniques and IT best practices
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple issues
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Fresh service, Jira)
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Exposure to cybersecurity practices
