Analytics Engineer

Overview

W2 ONLY (GC, GC EAD, H4 EAD or USC). NO C2C.

Our customer has an Analytics Engineer position open that can sit either in Fort Wayne, IN or Coppell, TX. This role is onsite 5 days per week and is a 6 month contract-to-hire. The responsibilities include developing and maintaining curated datasets within the gold layer of the enterprise data platform.

Contract to Hire, 6 months.

Locations:
Fort Wayne, IN or Coppell, TX.

• Build and maintain data models in the gold layer using Databricks.
• Apply established data modeling standards and best practices.
• Support development of the semantic layer for analytics use.
• Validate and test data for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in data or analytics roles.
• Experience with SQL and data transformation.
• Exposure to Databricks or similar platforms preferred.

• Strong SQL fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

Pay range: $50.00 - $85.00/hr.
