IT Technician Job Fort Wayne area,Indiana USA,IT/Tech

We are looking for a professional person to join our IT Support Team. The position is deployed to customer locations for in-person support and provide back-end remote support as well. You’ll be able to provide equipment installation, end-user support, network infrastructure installation, network programming, along with other IT projects.

You’ll immediately begin working on:

End user and Network Equipment installations.
Network infrastructure upgrades to a variety of customer locations.
Ensuring that end-users’ concerns are listened to, are promptly addressed and their IT problems are effectively resolved.

There are a few requirements for the job that must be met:

Must have a degree in an Information Technology-related discipline at an accredited technical school or college or equivalent work experience.
General technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS for troubleshooting processes.
Must be able to communicate complex information clearly to a wide array of customers.
Must be able to demonstrate IT problem-solving skills.
Must be able to demonstrate VLAN Programming on network equipment.
Must be able to effectively concentrate while handling multiple tasks when priorities shift.
Must have experience with hand tools and basic power tools.
Must be comfortable working at heights using ladders and lift equipment.
Experience with Fortinet, Netgear, Cisco network hardware is a plus!
