We are seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Fort Wayne, IN practice. This role is ideal for a proven dental office leader who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and knows how to balance people leadership, patient experience, scheduling, and financial performance.

The Office Manager serves as the practice leader, partnering closely with regional support teams to ensure operational excellence, strong team performance, compliance, and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily dental office operations and front-office teams
  • Coach, develop, and hold staff accountable for performance and professionalism
  • Oversee scheduling, insurance verification, billing, collections, and recalls
  • Monitor daily schedules to support production and revenue goals
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and terminations
  • Approve timecards, PTO, payroll updates, and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, and employment regulations
  • Oversee revenue cycle functions including claims, denials, and aging
  • Address escalated patient concerns and support patient experience initiatives
  • Partner with regional and corporate support teams on operational needs
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of dental office management experience (required)
  • 1+ year experience with Dentrix (preferred)
  • 1+ year experience with Medicaid (preferred)
  • Proven experience leading a dental front office or practice operations
  • Strong knowledge of dental scheduling, insurance, and billing workflows
  • Confident, self-directed leader with strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
Work Environment
  • Full-time, onsite position at the practice location
  • Business casual professional environment
  • Primarily desk-based with frequent team interaction throughout the office
