OverviewSummary:
Maintains engineering document control and CAD system. Initiates and implements process improvements as needed.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors and operatives.
- Provide manufacturing decision‑making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Provide manufacturing engineering information by seeking process specific advice and guidance.
- Create and manage plans to keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer s instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
- Maintain product and process data base and reporting accordingly.
- Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Investigate and solve production issues and make improvements to current operations to enhance efficiency utilizing Kaizen principles.
- Support and adhere to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (TS 16949) and environmental standards (ISO
14001). - Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

Education And/Or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents and statutes from jurisdictional agencies and governmental units, procedure manuals, and specification manuals. Ability to write instructions, plant operating procedures, and routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, regulatory agencies, and employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply basic concepts of physical science.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding and create instructions from technical data or statutes furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Interpret and apply regulations and procedures to situations.
