Hours
:
Training on 1st shift (7:50am-4:20pm), then move to 2nd shift (14:10pm-12:10am).
Pay
: $28.15 + shift premium
Produce quality products and maintain on-time delivery to customers while building the team through effective communication, prioritization of jobs, training, and assistance to the Department Team Lead in various leadership duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Help create and maintain an effective team environment.
- Communicate responsibilities, job assignments and prioritizations to employees to maintain department efficiency.
- Meet daily operation needs by coordinating available workforce, materials, and machinery.
- Build interpersonal relationships with team to help facilitate development.
- Monitor the training of all employees to ensure employees are competent in performing their jobs.
- Complete required performance reviews to provide feedback to employees to support their development and alignment of expectations.
- Communicate with other Department Shift Leads to facilitate necessary communication.
- Coordinate with Department Team Lead on monthly safety reports and required safety talks.
- Address performance deficiencies and initiate corrective action in coordination with Department Team Lead.
- Participate in daily operation of the department; help maintain quality and on-time delivery.
- Accurately record production data.
- Troubleshoot rejected material; determine the root of problem(s) to solve current and future issues; communicate problems, solutions, or suggestions to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other duties as requested by management
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- 2 years in a production environment, preferred.
- Average weights in production range from 10-25 lbs. Maximum weights may exceed 75-80 lbs. on occasion.
- May be required to perform work above shoulder height.
- Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting.
- Must be able to access all areas of operation.
- Standing/walking most of shift.
