Position OverviewMaintain, repair, and changeover of all the forming molds and trim dies; perform job effectively and efficiently; perform all aspects of job safely; exhibit teamwork; be accountable; troubleshoot and determine the best course of action to correct problems; learn job requirements based on company expectations; follow company policies and procedures.
Qualifications- Must be able to follow safety, and cleanliness practices
- Self motivated, and works well in a team environment
- Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, and problem solving capability
- Must have skills in basic machining (drilling, tapping, measuring tools, etc.)
- Must have the ability to follow written instructions, and write out a detailed log of daily work performed in the English Language.
- Has the ability to perform tasks in the standard allowed time frame.
- Basic knowledge of fasteners (types, sizes, etc.)
- Ability to read blue prints.
- Clean, disassemble, and reassemble forming molds and trim dies
- Change over molds and trim dies to different products
- Repair, and maintain molds and dies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tool maintenance department
- Fabricate parts or fixtures to maintain tools, and auxiliary production equipment
- Diagnose tooling problems at the line, and determine the best course of action to correct the problem
Ability to work 12 hours shift: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on a 2-2-3 work schedule. Availability to work weekends. Availability to work overtime as required.
