Tooling Technician position Available with Opportunities for Advancement

Maintain, repair, and changeover of all the forming molds and trim dies; perform job effectively and efficiently; perform all aspects of job safely; exhibit teamwork; be accountable; troubleshoot and determine the best course of action to correct problems; learn job requirements based on company expectations; follow company policies and procedures.

• Must be able to follow safety, and cleanliness practices
• Self motivated, and works well in a team environment
• Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, and problem solving capability
• Must have skills in basic machining (drilling, tapping, measuring tools, etc.)
• Must have the ability to follow written instructions, and write out a detailed log of daily work performed in the English Language.
• Has the ability to perform tasks in the standard allowed time frame.
• Basic knowledge of fasteners (types, sizes, etc.)
• Ability to read blue prints.

• Clean, disassemble, and reassemble forming molds and trim dies
• Change over molds and trim dies to different products
• Repair, and maintain molds and dies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tool maintenance department
• Fabricate parts or fixtures to maintain tools, and auxiliary production equipment
• Diagnose tooling problems at the line, and determine the best course of action to correct the problem

Ability to work 12 hours shift: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on a 2-2-3 work schedule. Availability to work weekends. Availability to work overtime as required.
