Summary

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines on multiple lines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Guides, trains, coaches, and counsels team members on multiple lines in relation to operations and to ensure productivity and quality targets are met and to maximize line utilization, and the growth of team members’ skills and flexibility.
  • Reports and analyzes performance metrics to provide feedback to team members, determine areas for improvement, and move toward achievement of targets.
  • Leads and participates in problem solving and process improvement teams to exceed customer commitments or plant metrics and performance.
  • Communicates with other departments and team members to provide appropriate information and consistent service to internal and external customers.
  • Performs the work of the line by handling parts, inspecting, and packaging finished goods, and providing parts and equipment to the line in order to maximize utilization.
  • Ensures the required performance, process, and quality testing is completed in order to provide consistent coating quality to our customers and financial performance to the shareholders.
  • Promotes and utilizes 5‑S standards to improve safety, efficiency, and cleanliness. Creates and coordinates the execution of action plans to achieve 5‑S targets.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Coordinates with manager the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Production labor positions on one or multiple lines in relation to production. This position has no responsibilities for disciplinary actions or handling of any Employee Relations issues.
