Position Overview

A Welder II will bring their MIG and TIG, industrial welding experience to our team.

Essential Functions
  • Perform all aspects of the job in a safe and quality conscious manner.
  • Operate welding equipment according to job guidelines and verify work to prints.
  • Perform basic weld inspection and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Operate air tools such as screw guns, drills, sanders, and grinders.
  • Operate chop saws and band saws.
  • Use knowledge of fabrication parts.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Report supply needs, equipment breakdowns, shortages and poor-quality materials to supervisor or lead.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of welding experience as an experienced and proficient GMAW/GTAW Welder.
  • Aluminum GMAW & GTAW experience preferred.
  • Vocational training and/or welding certificate preferred.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced team environment.
  • Read prints/work instructions and complete process sheets.
  • Computer skills including email.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $21.50 - $22.50 per hour. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

The employee frequently stands and lifts heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds, walks, pushes/pulls, reaches, and climbs stairs. The employee occasionally squats, kneels, and uses fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Specific vision requirements include close vision and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and being seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.
