We are seeking experienced Welders/Fitters to join our growing fabrication team. This position is ideal for candidates with previous industrial fabrication experience who take pride in producing quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Successful candidates will have strong MIG welding skills, the ability to read blueprints, and experience fitting and assembling fabricated components.

Location:
Fort Wayne, IN Pay: $18.00–$20.00+ per hour (Based on experience) Schedule Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM No scheduled Friday hours Overtime opportunities are frequently available on Fridays
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MIG welding on steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Layout, fit, and assemble fabricated parts according to specifications.
- Verify material lengths, dimensions, and hole locations prior to fabrication.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials safely.
- Handle raw materials and fabricated components throughout production.
- Use grinders to prepare and finish welds.
- Operate oxy-fuel cutting torches safely and effectively.
- Maintain quality standards while meeting production deadlines.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with the following is highly desired: MIG Welding Arc Welding TIG Welding Plasma Cutting Press Brakes Shears Rolling Equipment Industrial Fabrication Material Handling Crane Operation Forklift Operation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an industrial fabrication environment required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong understanding of basic measurements and layout.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
