Highly Skilled Welder / Fitter – Direct Hire

Competitive pay based on experience. 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00PM – 2:30AM. Likely overtime available on Fridays.

Pro Resources is hiring for a direct‑hire opportunity at a respected manufacturing company in Fort Wayne. Candidates will work directly on the company’s payroll from day one. We seek experienced welders who can work independently, fit parts accurately, and produce high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
• Fit and weld structural and metal components with precision using MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding processes.
• Measure, align, tack, and assemble materials accurately.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and consistency.
• Work independently while meeting production goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Strong previous experience as a Welder / Fitter.
• Ability to work with minimal fixturing.
• Comfortable reading tape measures and blueprints.
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Must be able to pass an on‑site weld test.
• High School Diploma / GED preferred.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Steel‑toed shoes required.
• Hearing protection required.
• Eye protection required.
• Jeans and t-shirts permitted.

• Felonies considered case‑by‑case with company approval.
