Control Room Operator, Manufacturing (HTST Operator)
Fort Wayne, IN – Operating
Hours:
Mon‑Fri 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm – $24.20/hr
- Schedule and process the production of product.
- Ensure processing areas are clean before and after use.
- Monitor and operate the HTST system according to PMO standards, including daily use of computers and HMI systems.
- Monitor and adjust milk unloading schedules as necessary.
- Coordinate CIP systems according to PMO and food‑safety plans.
- Coordinate chocolate batching.
- Identify process issues or deviations and escalates them to management.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely.
- Report any hazards, near‑misses, injuries, or accidents immediately.
- Actively participate in safety trainings and drills.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of safety protocols.
- Demonstrate awareness of surroundings to ensure personal and others’ safety.
- Accomplish work assignments and prioritize tasks using available policies and resources.
- Collaborate effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
- Carry out assigned tasks while communicating progress and relevant information.
- Identify and suggest ways to address improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans via the Open Door Policy and applying them in business processes.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Awareness of Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
