CNC Machinist

Overview

Leader in Medical Device Industry. CNC Machinist - 5-Axis 3rd Shift & Chucker 2nd Shift with 15% shift premium. New employees are eligible for benefits on date of hire.

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts; manage multiple machines simultaneously.
• Operate CNC lathes and mills and run proficiently; oversee setup and tool changes.

• High school graduate or equivalent

• 2 - 6 years of machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including 3 years of CNC experience or journeyman machinist
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints
• Ability to work with small precision parts to very close tolerances
• Capability to use basic inspection tools and techniques
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions; good shop math
• Proficient with interpersonal relations, organization, and communication skills

• CNC Lathe and/or Mills

• Light work:
  Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently; standing for 8+ hours per day
• Work conditions: noise, vibration, coolants
