CNC Machinist

Experienced machinist will set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts.

• Manage multiple machines simultaneously.
• Operate CNC machines with proficiency.
• Oversee set up and tool changes of CNC lathes and mills.

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• 2 – 6 years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including 3 years of CNC experience or journeyman machinist.

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints.
• Ability to work with small precision parts to very close tolerances.
• Capability to use basic inspection tools and techniques.
• Capacity to understand and follow verbal or written instructions; good understanding of shop math.
• Proficiency in interpersonal relations, organization, and communication skills.

• CNC lathe and/or mills.

• Light work:
  Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds frequently; may lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Standing for 8+ hours per day.
• Visual acuity:
  Close vision and color vision.
• Work conditions:
  Subject to noise, vibration, coolants and other hazards.
