Experienced machinist will set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple machines simultaneously.
- Operate CNC machines with proficiency.
- Oversee set up and tool changes of CNC lathes and mills.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 2 – 6 years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including 3 years of CNC experience or journeyman machinist.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints.
- Ability to work with small precision parts to very close tolerances.
- Capability to use basic inspection tools and techniques.
- Capacity to understand and follow verbal or written instructions; good understanding of shop math.
- Proficiency in interpersonal relations, organization, and communication skills.
- CNC lathe and/or mills.
- Light work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds frequently; may lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Standing for 8+ hours per day. - Visual acuity:
Close vision and color vision. - Work conditions:
Subject to noise, vibration, coolants and other hazards.
