Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Material Handlers to join our growing team. This position is responsible for safely receiving, organizing, moving, and preparing steel materials for production while supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has experience working in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Pay: $18.00–$20.00+ per hour (Based on experience) Exceptional candidates may be considered for higher pay. Please let us know your desired pay rate when applying.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM No scheduled Friday hours; overtime opportunities are frequently available.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
- Sort and organize materials according to specifications.
- Accurately use measuring tools, including tape measures and micrometers.
- Identify various types of steel and metal materials by size and specification.
- Operate manufacturing equipment including:
Band saws Hydraulic shears Hole punch equipment Gas torch Forklift Overhead crane - Load and unload steel delivery trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Transport materials throughout the facility to support production.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, welders, burn table operators, and other team members to resolve production issues.
- Maintain an organized work area while meeting production deadlines.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Operate a company flatbed truck for local deliveries (valid driver's license required).
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous material handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Steel-toe boots required.
- Jeans and T-shirt are acceptable work attire.
- Hearing protection and eye protection are required.
