CNC Setup Technician
Responsible for CNC machine troubleshooting, updating tool paths and completing set ups/change overs for machines.
Job Description- Recognize tool paths by interpreting the program (G and M codes)
- Machine set‑ups and changeovers
- Ability to train associates on machining standards
- Troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis techniques as they occur
- Participate in continuous improvement processes
- Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards
- 1 to 3 years of experience in high volume precision machining environment
- General understanding of manufacturing processes and detailed knowledge of lathe tooling/programming
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required
- Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling, Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes
- Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points
- Knowledge of Nachi robot controls
