Truss Builder Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 18.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:00pm)
As a Truss Builder, you will be responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses using engineered drawings, hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment. You'll work as part of a team to ensure products are built accurately, safely, and efficiently while meeting production deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble roof and floor trusses according to production specifications.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and production drawings.
- Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely.
- Measure and verify materials for accuracy.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Move lumber and completed trusses throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Truss Builder
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or assembly experience is not required.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Comfortable performing repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
