Position Overview

Assembler III - Fence Fabrication.

• Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times, and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately.
• Ability to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Engineering Prints.
• Visually inspect and/or audit units for quality.
• Discuss quality issues with lead or supervisor to resolve problems.
• Use a variety of electric and pneumatic hand tools.
• Seek positive solutions to issues and problems.
• Must be able to complete work within takt time.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Maintain a high standard of conduct and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, sleeves).
• Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.
• Experience using basic hand and small power tools including drill, saws, sanders, measuring tape, level.
• Must be able to read a blueprint.
• Previous manufacturing and/or machinery experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate and work in a team environment.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills.

The employee will frequently stand and lift heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds, walk, push or pull, reach, climb stairs, squat, kneel, and use fine hand movements such as tightening screws and bolts. Vision requirements include close and peripheral vision and the ability to adjust.

Hourly pay range: $19.00 to $21.00, dependent on experience and business needs.
