** Fort Wayne Manufacturing Facility is seeking a skilled and reliable Press Operator to operate and maintain warm form machinery to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications.

* Job Description:

*** Set up, adjust, and operate forging press machines to produce metal components.
* Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine machine setup and production requirements.
* Operating a forklift to load and unload materials into machines
* Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
* Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with press machinery.
* Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
* Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet deadlines.
* All other duties as assigned
** Required Skills and Education
*** High School Diploma or GED required.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot
* Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Forklift experience
