Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment? We are seeking experienced Production Supervisors to lead teams within our Fabrication and Welding Operations
. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while ensuring production schedules and customer requirements are met.
- Fabrication – Cutting Operations
- Fabrication – Forming/Bending Operations
- Welding Operations
Both 1st Shift and 2nd Shift positions are available.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop production employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
- Maintain and enforce quality standards while minimizing scrap, rework, and downtime.
- Monitor daily production performance and ensure schedules are achieved.
- Conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate staffing, training, and workforce planning to meet production demands.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning departments to support operational goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and employee performance.
- Manage attendance, labor utilization, workflow, and departmental metrics.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience
. - Experience leading teams in a production environment.
- Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Experience managing performance, attendance, and employee accountability.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documents, procedures, and production schedules.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems.
- Experience in metal fabrication, cutting, forming, bending, welding, or heavy manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience working in KPI-driven production environments.
- Associate's degree or technical certification.
- Holds employees accountable while building trust and engagement.
- Leads by example on the production floor.
- Understands manufacturing processes and production flow.
- Can effectively manage change and drive continuous improvement.
- Prioritizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Is comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
