We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Inventory Clerk to join our team. They will have prior experience in the warehouse environment and excellent math skills for balancing records.
Primary Responsibilitie s:- Check in material shells received and put them away in an organized manner, label shelves .
- Use Production P lan spreadsheet to pull material shells for production .
- Pull material shells for STO’S .
- Cycle count s.
- Keep the receiving area neat and organized .
- Put away surplus or unused production shells .
- Annual full-cycle Inventory count support .
- Supports other production and warehouse functions as needed .
- Prior inventory experience required.
- P roficient in basic math; counting and basic math equations.
- Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills; interaction with a variety of skill and experience levels within the organization .
- Comfortable looking up information in various databases (training provided) . Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel) .
- Must be solutions oriented and flexible in approach .
- Ability to complete tasks accurately as assigned with a sense of urgency .
- Prior forklift operator experience preferred ;
Must be willing to be trained and certified to operate a forklift
- Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, stand and walk for at least 3 hours continually , over a n 8- hour shift, with 2–15-minute breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Use of data bases – PLM, SAP, Share Point
- Safety training
As a member of our team we encourage promotion from within and cross training. As part of the inventory support team you would be working with Production Teams, Warehouse Teams and the Plant Leadership teams regularly. Future growth paths could include;
Quality, warehouse support, shipping clerk, or production support.
