Salary Range: $18.48 To $18.48 Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for inspection of product characteristics, packaging, and labeling of containers as required. The Safe Launch may also be required to re-pack product or to rework product as designated by their supervisor.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspection of product for any designated defects arising from molding or assembly process.
  • Inspection of the packaging used for shipping the product.
  • Inspection of labels used to identify the product.
  • Packaging of the part, or re-packing of parts from one type of container to another
  • Reworking of parts that do not meet acceptance criteria.
  • Completion of the production forms and labels required for the job.
  • Support manufacturing group as required, such as relieving and/or assigned to production processes.
  • Enter data into Plex system as required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Other assignments as designated by the Shift Supervisor.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work with your hands.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with fellow Operators, support staffs and the Shift Supervisor.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to determine if a part meets quality requirements.
  • Ability to fill out forms and labels accurately and neatly.
