Job Description

Job Summary Pro Resources is seeking a candidate for a local company that specializes in large-diameter U-Bolts and other fasteners used in the heavy-duty truck and trailer suspension markets. The Machine Operator sets up and operates production machinery within an assigned department to manufacture these products, following established specifications and quality standards. McCoy Bolt currently has immediate openings across all production departments, including Cold Forming (Draw), Shear, Threading, Stress Relief, Bending, and Finish.

Work Schedule Monday through Thursday – First

Shift: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM;
Second Shift available. Pay: $18.00hr Essential Duties Sets up, operates, and monitors assigned production machinery (Cold Forming/Draw, Shear, Threading, Stress Relief, Bending, or Finish) according to job specifications Loads and unloads raw material and finished parts safely and efficiently Inspects parts throughout the production run using gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications Makes minor machine adjustments and reports equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to the supervisor or maintenance team Maintains accurate production, quality, and downtime records Follows all safety procedures, wears required PPE, and keeps the work area and machinery clean and organized Other Duties Performs other duties as assigned Essential Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Basic mechanical aptitude and a good work ethic Ability to read and use basic measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, micrometers) Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, and measurement conversions Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions Ability to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods, independently or as part of a team Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing production demands, and maintain reasonably reliable attendance Basic/Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required – willing to train candidates with basic mechanical skills and a good work ethic Essential Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk continuously during the assigned shift Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to push/pull, grip/grasp, and perform repetitive hand and arm motions continuously Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, and reach above shoulders frequently Ability to work near moving machinery, with exposure to elevated noise, varying temperatures, and machine lubricants/coolants Ability to work the assigned shift, including occasional overtime as required
