Shift: Second Shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Compensation: $26.00–$30.00 per hour (commensurate with proven work history)
A day in the life

At 3:00 PM you step onto the floor ready to diagnose, repair, and optimize production assets. One hour it’s a CNC lathe throwing a fault you’ll trace through a PLC and servo loop; the next it’s a warm forge press needing hydraulic and pneumatic adjustments. You collaborate with engineers and fellow techs, document fixes, and apply preventive maintenance so equipment hits uptime and quality targets.

Core responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing assets, including CNC lathes and warm forge presses

Install and service electrical systems and components in accordance with codes and blueprints

Diagnose malfunctions; repair or replace failed parts; verify reliable equipment operation

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime

Record maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements with clear documentation

Partner with technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve issues and improve processes

What you’ll bring

Hands-on experience in a production/manufacturing setting; background with CNC machines and mechanical presses strongly preferred

Working knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial control systems

Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints

Proven aptitude for troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems

Clear oral/written communication and basic computer skills

Flexible with shift needs; open to overtime

Top 3 must‑haves

Diagnose electrical issues; repair/replace faulty components; confirm stable operation

Experience in a production-oriented environment with emphasis on CNC and mechanical press troubleshooting/repair

Exceptional electrical and mechanical analytical problem‑solving ability

Preferences

Electrical troubleshooting expertise and CNC repair experience are highly valued

Highly skilled mechanical-only candidates with deep CNC experience may be considered

This role is not focused on facilities maintenance.
